            Population growth is undeniably increasing through the years and this causes problems in the community. The more people are living in this world the more demand they need for all essential things and other needs like transportation clothing, water, and all supplies used in everyday life. All the resources will not last long if the growth of the population continues. More people will suffer from poverty and all crimes will also rise. However, as the problems have been identified the people as well as the government create solutions to control the rapid population growth and of course with the help of technology.

              Cases of unwanted pregnancies are not new to us. Way back before as you can remember our grandparents or trying to recall our ancestors, most of them have many children that many have dozens of children. And because of that many children are not able to go to school and there are some who suffer from hunger because of food shortages and poverty. Nowadays where modern technology has been accessible to many people with the use of the internet and many have been exposed to porn sites that influence them to do such bad things to their fellow. But we must grateful somehow for interventions produced by our government and by using technology they were able to control the growth of the population. I know that one of the policies implemented by our authorities is gender equality. It helps especially women who are in other countries do not have equal rights to men. This program promotes woman's empowerment that helps them do the things they want to improve themselves. So many women today are studying in school together with men, proving that they can do the things men can do. Women nowadays can work and earn money on their own and they can support their families. So instead of seeing women in their homes, they are now outside the world looking for or outside their homes and performing their duty as career women. This situation will lessen their time in making babies. Another one is the use of technology where the knowledge of man is applied to solve a problem. With the help of technology, they can able to produce contraception as part of family planning programs. The purpose is to offset the pressures of population growth. As a woman becomes educated, the knowledge about contraception will help them accept the methods. With the use of technology, this contraception level-up help declines the fertility rate. Not only women can decide to avail of contraceptive technology, but man also has options for it. As we can see we have oral hormonal pills, the intra-uterine device (IUD), the male condom, injectables, the implant (including Norplant), vaginal barrier methods, female and male sterilization, the female condom, and emergency contraception. One of the worst things that happened in our history is the massive killings of the population. It is the easiest form to get rid of the human population but brutal it is in form of weapons, bombs, and firearms. Another thing that controls the human population is policies implemented by the government for example China follows the one-child policy. If there is a law people tend to follow it or else they will be punished if they will violate the law.

          Technology and intervention in development offset the pressures of population growth. Giving children equal rights, gender equality, education, and policies has a vital role in controlling the rapid growth of the population. The use of technology improves the lives of people and makes things at ease. Technology is used to make contraception for couples who wants to plan the size of their family. The government develops programs to solve the problems of poverty because of overpopulation.
